How to backup and restore Octopus POS

Backup Octopus POS 


  • Connect iPad to a computer
  • Open iTunes on the computer and go to Apps > File Sharing section
  • Select the correct application - (FoodPOS or Retail Point of Sales)
  • Select the data in the Apps Document Folder
  • Save the data into your computer
Restore Octopus POS 



  • First backup current files (follow the steps above)
  • Delete the content of the Document Folder of the app
  • Add the backed up content that you want to restore back into Apps Document Folder
  • Restart the application
