Configuring Receipt Printers

What are the compatible printers?

Star TSP 654 / 700 LAN, Epson TM-T88V LAN, Blue Bamboo P25 Bluetooth

Configuring Epson TM-T88V LAN

Make sure that your iPad is connected to the router via wifi within the correct network and continue with the following steps:

• Hold the Feed button and Power button on the printer until a configuration sheet ejects.
  The configuration sheet states the 'Firmware Version' and the current 'Interface' used.
• Again, hold the Feed button until another sheet ejects stating the 'Mode Selection'.
Press the Feed button 3 times to eject the 'Customize Value Settings'.
Press the feed button less than 1 second as many times as the selected mode number.
Press the feed button for 1 second or more to enter the selected mode.
• Under 'Customize Value Settings', select "10. Interface selection".
• Under 'Interface Selection', select "1. UIB" then hold the Feed button, it will return to the previous menu
• Hold the Feed button to exit and Reboot the printer
• Repeat step 1, your printer's current IP address will be ejected.
  If you want to change the IP address, connect the printer to a PC using RJ45 cable(make sure the printer is on UIB mode),
  open your preferred browser and key-in the printer's IP address as the web address, you should able to enter the configuration page.
  You can adjust the IP by clicking "TCP/IP"
• In Octopus Food POS, open System Preferences > Printer Settings,
  choose Epson TM-T88V LAN as your printer model, key in the IP address and leave the default port as 9100.

Configuring Star TSP 654 / 700 LAN

Make sure that your iPad is connected to the router via wifi within the correct network and continue with the following steps:

• Plug in the Power cable and LAN cable. Turn on the Power switch.
• Allow a few seconds for the printer to connect to the network to retrieve the IP address from the DHCP router.
  It usually takes about 30 seconds until the green light indicator flashes from the network port.
• Turn on the Power switch while pressing on the Feed button.
  Keep pressing on the Feed button until the forst configuration sheet ejects.
• Under 'Customize Value Settings', select "10. Interface selection" .
• Wait 10 seconds for the second configuration sheet to be ejected.
• Take note of the IP address.
• In Octopus Food POS, open System Preferences > Printer Settings, choose Epson TM-T88V LAN as your printer model, key in the IP address and leave the default port as 9100.
